A decisive step for the Muslims of Mulhouse has been reached: the construction of a mosque worthy of the name, the needs and aspirations of Muslims of Mulhouse. This project responds to new demands in terms of size and quality housing. An architecture that combines modernity, simplicity and authenticity, showing a willingness to give the image of a practice of Islam in harmony with its context. A place of life that conveys a message of balance.

After several years of negotiations and numerous meetings with the City Council, we reached an agreement with the city of Mulhouse. The city council, during its deliberation on September 18, 2006, has voted the land sale to the association AMAL thereby approving the project in its entirety. Senator Mayor personally supports the project and we are working together to bring this ambitious project: "This architecture suits us, including the dome and the minaret. It is normal for a place of worship to be identified while respecting the environment."

This project is certainly brought by the Association of Muslim of ALsace(AMAL), but it is the project of all Muslims. The association is supported by all the Muslims of Mulhouse. All work hand in hand and fervently, each according to his competence, to bring this project and we thank them.

Although the project is immense, the challenge is great but our trust in Allah the Almighty and the support of all Muslims stimulate us to continue our commitment and to achieve this project.
